C2C
For 2010 I have set our team’s goals higher athletically and philanthropically. Our goal, starting July 29, 2010 is to ride from Concord, Massachusetts to the summit of Cadillac Mountain in Bar Harbor, Maine. The ride, dubbed the “C2C” (Concord to Cadillac), will take us along more than 300 miles of Maine coastline. We hope to have a total of five riders complete the entire journey. As a team we have set our fundraising goal at of raising $15,000 toward land protection and preservation along the Maine coastline.
The details on the “C2C”:
- Who: Currently Matt Solar, Taylor Moran-Gates, Adrian Ionescu (Goal is for 4+ riders to complete the ride)
- What: “Concord to Cadillac” – a three-day, 300 mile trek on bicycles from Concord, MA. to the summit of Cadillac Mountain in Bar Harbor, Maine.
- Where: Approximate route is mapped below
- When: Departing Concord on Friday, July 30th 2010
- Why: To raise money for social and environmental causes. (Additional details to follow)
